Sensor Analyzer for Water in Oil
CPO: Crude Palm Oil
Application: Truck to Tanks (Unloading)
Introduction to Crude Palm Oil (CPO) Water Contamination Detectors in Indonesia.
Manufacturer: EESIFLO International
Crude Palm Oil is often transported from the palm oil mills to the unloading bays in the palm oil refineries using truck tankers. EESIFLO’s detectors measure the water content in CPO delivered with every crude palm oil delivery batch through the truck tankers.
Benefits of Inline/Online CPO Monitoring:
To reduce the possibilities of the transported CPO being compromised, it is possible to install the EESIFLO EASZ-1 which is available in sizes that are familiar to the crude oil refinery.
The EASZ-1 is preconfigured and shipped to Indonesian end-users and integration companies to provide alarm detection of high-water content i.e. an amount of water in the CPO that is an acceptable to the buyer. These devices are available in 2 inch to 8 inch full-bore versions which can easily be retrofitted into existing CPO unloading systems and provide a convenient way for buyers and sellers to reduce the amount of manpower that is required to spot sample CPO at the tank truck terminal by detecting the water content in the crude palm oil automatically
Indonesian Palm Oil Industry
Indonesia is the world’s leading producer and exporter of palm oil. Together with Malaysia, they made up more than 83 percent of the world’s palm oil production. Unlike Malaysia, however, which exported the majority of the palm oil it produced, Indonesia is also one of the world’s largest consumers of palm oil, using it as both edible oil and in biofuels.
Palm oil production in Indonesia
Palm oil production in Indonesia is primarily concentrated on Borneo and Sumatra. In 2022, these two islands’ top five provinces produced over two-thirds of the nation’s palm oil. The plantations are categorized into three administrative types: government-owned, independent and nucleus estate smallholders, and large private-owned plantations. Major industry players include Wilmar International and Golden Agri-Resources. Indonesia’s largest palm oil export market is India, the world’s top consumer of edible oils.

Introduction to EASZ-2
The EASZ-2 is our latest sensor designed to deliver accurate and reliable moisture measurements in oil. Whether you need to manage an oil process linked to a drying system or monitor water levels in storage tanks and receiving bays, the EASZ-2 is the ideal solution.
Furthermore, it features an integrated display with color-coded indicators: green for normal conditions, yellow for borderline moisture levels, and red for significant water contamination issues in vegetable oil processing.
In addition, the EASZ-2 offers flexible output options, including 4-20mA or Modbus signals, which can be directed to a local controller. It also provides a dry contact alarm at a specified set point, enabling you to control a valve, divert flow, or halt a process that is not operating within the desired parameters.
